How signup works

Here's the whole process, end to end, so there are no surprises.

Pick your tier Based on how many learners you need to cover. Every tier includes unlimited tutor accounts.
Add college details Legal name, billing address, a contact person, and a data protection contact. These go on the invoice and the agreements.
Review and e-sign the agreements You'll see both the Subscription Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement, tick three confirmation boxes, and type your name as an electronic signature.
Pay Two options: pay by card now for instant access, or request a proper invoice with 30-day payment terms that your finance team can pay by bank transfer.

How seats and join codes work

Once your payment clears, your college is activated with the number of learner seats matching your tier (for example, the Standard tier gives you 30 seats).

We email you a unique college join code — six characters, something like PM7K3X.

Share the code with your learners. When each learner signs up on the PlumbMate platform and enters the code, they automatically join your college and take one of your seats. Your tutor signs up the same way and we upgrade their account to tutor access within one business day.

You stay in control: as the tutor, you can deactivate the code at any time from your tutor dashboard, and see exactly which learners have joined and how many seats are still available.

Tutor email addresses — one per line. These people get tutor access automatically when they sign up. Tutor seats don't count toward your learner limit.

These are the same agreements attached to any PlumbMate college contract. Please read both before ticking.

By typing your name and clicking Proceed to payment, you are signing this agreement electronically. Your name, the date and time of signing, and basic session information will be recorded as part of the audit trail, in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act 2000 and eIDAS Regulation.

Check your order summary, then pick a payment method. Both routes use Stripe — your data and payment are handled securely.

Best for colleges and training providers where the purchaser has access to a bank card.

Request an invoice

We email a proper invoice to your billing contact with 30-day payment terms. Pay by bank transfer or card via the hosted invoice page. Access activates when payment clears.

Best for colleges with formal procurement / finance approval.

Auto-renew each year Renews on 1 September every year at the full annual rate of £—. Cancel any time from your tutor dashboard — access continues until the end of the paid period.

Your college will be activated and your join code issued as soon as the invoice is paid. If payment hasn't reached us after 30 days, Stripe will send automated reminders.

Access runs from activation until 31 July of the current academic year. From 1 September each year, the agreement will renew at the full annual rate unless you give 30 days' notice before that date.
